You can have your own domain name for your blog in blogspot!
For example, say you have a blog on Blogger http://yourblog.blogspot.com/ which does not look professional.
Initially it may serve your purpose but when your blog grows, you must obtain your own domain name, which will make it more professional and will get more reputation. You can access your Blogger blog via http://www.yourblog.com/
Good thing is, getting a domain and pointing it to your blog is not at all expensive! It will cost you a maximum of $10 in a year.
